The 2014 Yamaha R1 was mostly the same as the 2009-2011, but added electronics to compete with what BMW was offering with the S1000RR.  One of the most impressive technologies that can be found under the YZF-R1’s skin is the seven-level Traction Control system which is coupled with a three level D-Mode electronic throttle response control

This bike has been through our service department and passed a 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike.  

This unit features some nice carbon bits that nicely accent the Leo Vince exhausts.  The cosmetic condition is a reflection of the low miles with few blemishes and glossy paint.
